History

Department of Business Administration (DoBA) was created in 1994 to disseminate education addressing the issues of business and management across the country and the wider South Asian region. The Department is an integral part of Sukkur IBA University (SIBAU). The Department educates students in interactive classes where they learn and acquire skills to develop attitudes and values appropriate for leading and serving in a global society.

DoBA continuously strives to improve the quality of its teaching and research. National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) of Pakistan's Higher Education Commission (HEC) has accredited DoBA's academic programs in the "W" Category which is the highest classification. DoBA seeks to become a leading business school in Pakistan and the broader South Asian region known for high-quality teaching and research.

DoBA has envisioned becoming a leading institute at the international level. We have already taken different initiatives to achieve such a vision by imparting inclusive education. We are currently working with various reputable International Accreditation bodies, including AACSB, EFMD, and AMDISA.
